Notepad++ is a great file editor. It has many features. The most important feature which I like about Notepad++ is its light weight. It loads up so quickly, that's great. It also provides syntax highlighting for many languages. I use notepad++ to edit general files as well as my simple Java programs.

ReplyDeleteSure, Notepad++ is a great tool for java code editing, but definitely not the best one. As for me, such editors as Atom or Sublime Text has a way more customizing features in addition to their simplicity. Moreover, I ended up with notepad right after the moment when it suddenly crush all file associations on my laptop, so I couldn't open my codes anywhere. Glad that I found solution quickly here, it fixed all associations and allows me to open my java files as well as open txt file https://wikiext.com/txt Don't know any exact alternative for npp, but I highly recommend you to switch to another editor
